VirtualPlayground's eSports program consists of a rotation of various full-body, room-scale virtual reality(VR) games and apps ranging from head-to-head VR sword duels, 4-player free-for-all shooters, and 2 vs 2 and 4 vs 4 team-based games. VR Knights will compete in weekly scheduled competitive events to gain experience points, and gradually raise their competitive skill levels, earning the opportunity to participate in competitive Premier Bouts (larger experience points games) and tournaments.
The 'Captain' of the VR Knights, First to fight! The Knight Master is the first knight on the council to receive and accept challenges from outside of the council and may freely challenge any member of the VR Knighthood and The VR Knight's Council
The Baron leads all VR knights (including the VR Knight Master) outside of the council. The Baron may only be challenged by the VR Knight Master and other members of the Knight's Council and may freely challenge any member of the VR Knighthood and VR Knight's Council.
The House Master is The House Champion, second only to the Chapter Master. The Baron concedes control of the VR knights to the House Master. The House Master may only be challenged by the Knight Master and other members of the Knight's Council and may freely challenge any member of the VR Knighthood and VR Knight's Council.
The VirtualPlayground's top VR Knight. The leader of the Rams Chapter VR Knighthood and VR Knight's Council. May only be challenged once Knight Master, Baron, and House Master have been challenged and defeated in competition. May freely challenge any member of the VR Knighthood and VR Knight's Council. The lead representative for the VR Knights in Competitive eSports.
Participants will begin their training, in pairs, as knights apprentice-mates. This 2-player pairing will train together to gather the necessary experience points (XP) required to graduate to VR knighthood.
What happens after graduating to knighthood?
Once apprentices are dubbed VR knights, they will continue to compete in competitive eSports games and apps, gain experience points, ascend through the 7 levels of VR knighthood, and gain the opportunity to challenge the Knight's Council seats for tournament spots.
